As schools
across the state get ready to implement and train teachers
in the use of the New K-12 Educational Technology Standards,
it might become necessary to have additional training
materials. As the department develops new materials we
will add them to this site.
Currently, we
have developed one page brochures of the Strands,
Indicators, and grade level standards to assist teachers in
learning the new standards. These may be downloaded
and used for educational training purposes. |

Free USDOE webcast on Technology Proficiency
The following link will take you to the USDOE's recent
webcast on Technology Proficiency and discussion as well as
video examples of how teachers are implementing technology
into the core content classes such as math and social
studies as well as give you a look at how other states are
assessing the 8th grade technology literacy proficiency
requirement under NCLB. You can even take a quick internet
poll relating to the topic.
