The U.S. Census Bureau recently released the Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates for income year 2010. The SAIPE includes school district level populations and poverty counts for children ages 5-17.
Support network offered for new teachers
The Teacher to Teacher Support Network, or TTSN, is an online platform intended to serve as a community of practice for teachers throughout the state. TTSN is accepting names of first- and second-year teachers for the online mentoring program until Feb. 10.
