South Dakota School Wellness Policy Summit scheduled for June 6
Studies show that healthy eating and adequate physical activity improve students’ academic performance. A Wellness Policy Summit will be held June 6 in Chamberlain. Registration is required, and lunch and mileage will be paid for a team of up to three people from each district. One of the members must be an administrator or school board member. Board of Education to meet May 20 in Rapid City
The South Dakota Board of Education has a regularly scheduled meeting on the calendar for Monday, May 20, at Western Dakota Tech in Rapid City. More details, including a complete agenda, will be posted on the Board of Education website as the meeting date draws closer.
